The guided walking tour "From Bibémus to Cézanne, from Stone to Color" is a unique opportunity to explore the Bibémus quarries, whose access is regulated. Under the shade of the pines, you will discover this must-see site in the Aix-en-Provence region. Indeed, Cézanne frequented this place at the end of the 19th century to capture the contrasts of Provence: green, ochre, and blue.
There, the artist painted numerous works en plein air, depicting Mont Sainte-Victoire, rocks, pines... in one word: nature. You will walk through a Cézanne painting, immersing yourself in the peaceful surroundings to feel the colors and shapes, and bring them together.
